MUZIK LESSONS

2026-2027 School Year

Enrollment is now open for the 2026–2027 school year! We offer both in-person and online instruction for your convenience. We are looking forward to being able to schedule more in-person classes as we move further into the 2027 school year; we are looking forward to being together and being connected through music. We have many fun and excited events planned for the 2026-2027 School year and we hope that you all decide to take part.

Mozarta Muzik offers personalized music instruction for children, teens, and adults, from beginner through advanced levels. Lessons are available online and, where applicable, in person, allowing students to study in the format that best suits their needs and goals.

We offer instruction in piano, voice, songwriting, composition, music theory, and solfège, with programs designed around each student’s age, level, interests, and musical ambitions.

Whether you’re beginning your musical journey, returning to music after a break, preparing for performance, or pursuing more advanced study, our goal is to provide a structured yet creative environment where you can develop your skills and confidence.

The benefits of music education are immense and highly beneficial to students in many major life aspects, Societal and personal.

MTAC Certificate of Merit® — Now Available Worldwide

Students interested in a more structured musical pathway can also prepare for the MTAC Certificate of Merit® in piano and voice through private Zoom lessons with Dr. Sophia Sonya Kahn — from anywhere in the world. Contact us to discuss lessons, levels, and enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year.

Online Lessons

Private online lessons provide a flexible way to study music from wherever you are. Through Zoom, students receive personalized instruction while working on technique, musical understanding, repertoire, creativity, and performance skills.

Online lessons are available for piano, voice, songwriting, composition, music theory, and solfège, depending on the student’s goals and level.

For the best online experience, students should have a computer, tablet, or phone positioned so that the teacher can clearly see the student’s face and hands/instrument.

Online lessons also make it possible for students to continue their musical studies regardless of location, schedule, or travel. With a focused lesson environment and personalized guidance, students can make steady progress while developing effective practice habits and greater independence as musicians.

A Personalized Approach

Every student learns differently. Our lessons are designed around the student’s age, experience, abilities, interests, and individual goals, rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

Technical development and musical expression go hand in hand. Students work on the fundamentals of their instrument or voice while also developing musicianship, creativity, confidence, interpretation, and performance skills.

Depending on the student’s interests and level, lessons may incorporate repertoire, music theory, solfège, ear training, improvisation, songwriting, composition, and performance preparation.

Whether studying for personal enjoyment or working toward a specific musical goal, students receive individual attention and a structured path for continued development.

TERMS AND POLICIES

This TERMS AND POLICIES AGREEMENT (“Lessons Policy”) is made by and between Mozarta Muzik School of Arts (“Mozarta Muzik”), the assigned Teacher (“Teacher”) and the party(ies) – i.e. parents, guardians, and/or students, – referred to as: (“Students”).

We are looking forward to a very exciting journey of music making with you!

All tuition is due by the first day of each month regardless of attendance. Accepted payment methods include: Cash, Credit Cards, Personal Check, Bank Transfer, Venmo and PayPal. Monthly tuition is not pro-rated per lessons missed. Invoices will be emailed approximately one week prior to each tuition payment due date.

Tuition covers four lessons a month. When a month has five lesson days in it, the fifth is used to balance out a month that has had three lessons in it due to a holiday or rescheduled teacher absence.

Tuition includes much more than the lesson time I spend with each student:

  • Preparing for each lesson, creating worksheets and games, planning and preparing for recitals, purchasing books, sight-reading, parties, professional experience and continuous education.
  • Studio equipment, pianos, website fees and maintenance, memberships in professional organizations that provide performance opportunities for students and educational opportunities for teachers. Administrative duties, and so much more!

A $40 fee will be charged to the student account for each check returned by the bank for non-payment. Non-payment of tuition or consistent late payment will result in immediate termination.

Tuition rates are raised annually.

Please remember to contact us at least 48-hours in advance of missing a lesson in order to receive a make-up. If sufficient notice is not given for a missed lesson, the lesson will have to be forfeited and tuition used to hold your spot. In the event of sudden illness, we are flexible, but please understand a make-up cannot be guaranteed. If you’ve given at least 48-hour notice, your lesson is converted to a makeup spot for another student, and you’ll be automatically given a makeup credit. Any cancelled or missed booked makeup lesson will not be rescheduled.

We know that scheduling conflicts come up from time to time, make your lesson time a priority. If an excessive number of make-ups is requested (generally more than one in a 3-month period) it may not be possible to continue to hold your regular slot.

If a student is late to a lesson, their lesson will still end at the regularly scheduled time. If the teacher is late, the time will be made up at the end of the lesson or later, mutually agreed upon time.

Every student stops taking lessons at some point. Ideally this decision is made with plenty of discussion between the teacher, student, and parent, so that the lessons can cease with a positive sense of closure.

If you would like to stop lessons, please notify us one month prior to discontinuing lessons. There are no refunds given if you choose to stop mid-month or without adequate notice.

Mozarta Muzik School of Arts is hereby granted permission to take photographs and/or video of the students to use in brochures, websites, school related social media, posters, and other promotional materials the school creates.

Permission is also hereby granted for the school to copyright such photographs and video footage in its name. By participating in school programs, you consent to the video or audio recording or taking of photographs for these purposes. Prior approval from the student/parent will be asked if personal information is to be attached to the photos or recordings.

It’s illegal to record teachers and professors without their consent, this applies to in-person and online lessons.
