2022-2023 School Year Information
We are now enrolling for the 2022/2023 School year! We offer both in-person and online instruction for your convenience. We are looking forward to being able to schedule more in-person classes as we move further into the 2023 school year; we are looking forward to being together and being connected through music. We have many fun and excited events planned for the 2022-2023 School year and we hope that you all decide to take part.
The benefits of music education are immense and highly beneficial to students in many major life aspects, Societal and personal.
We offer Piano, Voice, Songwriting, and soon will include Guitar and Violin Lessons.
We are also very proud to be apart of the Certificate of Merit® (CM) program. If you or your child are interested in this program please contact us for more information.
Online Lessons
All lessons will be held via Zoom, FaceTime & Skype.
Here are some tips on how to get ready for online lessons:
- Choose your device – phone, tablet, iPad or computer
- place it close to the piano (or chosen instrument) at such angle so that your teacher can see your face and your hands.
Make sure you have created a free Zoom account, this will allow us to connect with you and have a lesson over Wi-Fi.
Detailed learning and practice steps are taught during practice time.
In-Person Lessons
Let’s observe the following safety protocols at all times, it’s the best way to be safe.
- Masks are required at all times
- Social Distancing will be observed within studios
- Piano keys will be wiped down and disinfected between students
- All teachers are fully vaccinated
- There is an operable window in every classroom for fresh air circulation
- If you feel sick, then please stay home and we’ll arrange a makeup lesson
- We recommend the special singer’s mask for all our voice students. https://www.broadwayreliefproject.com/singersmask/p/style-01-pjkne

TERMS AND POLICIES
This TERMS AND POLICIES AGREEMENT (“Lessons Policy”) is made by and between Mozarta Muzik School of Arts (“Mozarta Muzik”), the assigned Teacher (“Teacher”) and the party(ies) – i.e. parents, guardians, and/or students, – referred to as: (“Students”).
We are looking forward to a very exciting journey of music making with you!
All tuition is due by the first day of each month regardless of attendance. Accepted payment methods include: Cash, Credit Cards, Personal Check, Bank Transfer, Venmo and PayPal. Monthly tuition is not pro-rated per lessons missed. Invoices will be emailed approximately one week prior to each tuition payment due date.
Tuition covers four lessons a month. When a month has five lesson days in it, the fifth is used to balance out a month that has had three lessons in it due to a holiday or rescheduled teacher absence.
Tuition includes much more than the lesson time I spend with each student:
- Preparing for each lesson, creating worksheets and games, planning and preparing for recitals, purchasing books, sight-reading, parties, professional experience and continuous education.
- Studio equipment, pianos, website fees and maintenance, memberships in professional organizations that provide performance opportunities for students and educational opportunities for teachers. Administrative duties, and so much more!
A $40 fee will be charged to the student account for each check returned by the bank for non-payment. Non-payment of tuition or consistent late payment will result in immediate termination.
Tuition rates are raised annually.
Please remember to contact us at least 48-hours in advance of missing a lesson in order to receive a make-up. If sufficient notice is not given for a missed lesson, the lesson will have to be forfeited and tuition used to hold your spot. In the event of sudden illness, we are flexible, but please understand a make-up cannot be guaranteed. If you’ve given at least 48-hour notice, your lesson is converted to a makeup spot for another student, and you’ll be automatically given a makeup credit. Any cancelled or missed booked makeup lesson will not be rescheduled.
We know that scheduling conflicts come up from time to time, make your lesson time a priority. If an excessive number of make-ups is requested (generally more than one in a 3-month period) it may not be possible to continue to hold your regular slot.
If a student is late to a lesson, their lesson will still end at the regularly scheduled time. If the teacher is late, the time will be made up at the end of the lesson or later, mutually agreed upon time.
Every student stops taking lessons at some point. Ideally this decision is made with plenty of discussion between the teacher, student, and parent, so that the lessons can cease with a positive sense of closure.
If you would like to stop lessons, please notify us one month prior to discontinuing lessons. There are no refunds given if you choose to stop mid-month or without adequate notice.
Mozarta Muzik School of Arts is hereby granted permission to take photographs and/or video of the students to use in brochures, websites, school related social media, posters, and other promotional materials the school creates.
Permission is also hereby granted for the school to copyright such photographs and video footage in its name. By participating in school programs, you consent to the video or audio recording or taking of photographs for these purposes. Prior approval from the student/parent will be asked if personal information is to be attached to the photos or recordings.
It’s illegal to record teachers and professors without their consent, this applies to in-person and online lessons.
