Certificate of Merit
The Certificate of Merit® (CM) program provides a structured pathway for musical development through a sequential curriculum designed to guide students from one level to the next. Students develop a broad range of musical skills while working toward clearly defined goals and achievements.
The program is available through MTAC in a wide range of instruments, including piano, violin, cello, viola, flute, French horn, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, euphonium, trombone, trumpet, voice, harp, and guitar.
At Mozarta Muzik, CM preparation is currently available in piano and voice with Dr. Sophia Sonya Kahn.
Certificate of Merit® can be an excellent choice for students who enjoy working toward specific milestones and would benefit from a structured, progressive approach to their musical education. Enrollment and preparation requirements vary by level and instrument, and students should consult with their MTAC teacher for guidance.

Sophia Sonya Kahn, DMA
Founder and Director Dr. Sophia Sonya Kahn is an established professional musician and educator with over twenty years of teaching experience. She is an accomplished concert pianist and vocalist, collaborative and active recording artist, composer, and producer.
Dr. Sophia Sonya Kahn has an extensive background touring and performing with renowned artists internationally. She has developed a range of programs focused on piano and voice pedagogy, music theory, and solfège.
